2. Information we collect
The contact form collects your name | company if provided | email address | phone number | project type | budget range | timeline and project description. It also records the submission time and the version of the privacy notice you acknowledged.
Our hosting and website service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses | browser information and diagnostic logs to deliver and secure the website. External font and image services receive the connection information needed to display their content.
3. Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond to you | prepare a quotation | discuss your project | keep a record of communications and protect the website from misuse. Where a project proceeds we use relevant information to perform our agreement and meet legal obligations.
Processing is based on an applicable lawful ground under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). This may include steps you request before a contract | performance of a contract | a legal obligation or a legitimate interest in responding to and managing enquiries. Consent is requested separately where required. Acknowledging this notice does not subscribe you to marketing.
4. Providing your details
Company information is optional. The remaining form fields are required to submit an online request. If you prefer not to use the form you can contact us by phone or email. Without enough contact and project information we may not be able to respond or prepare a quote.
Please do not submit identity documents | payment card details | health information or other sensitive information through this form. Share another person's information only if you are authorised to do so.
5. Storage and sharing
Form submissions are stored in a private enquiry record using Lovable Cloud. Access is restricted to authorised business personnel and service providers who need it for the stated purposes. Our designated enquiry inbox is info@greenacredesigns.co.za.
We may share necessary information with providers supporting hosting | enquiry storage | business communications and project delivery. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to protect lawful rights. We do not sell enquiry information or use it for unrelated advertising.
6. Processing outside South Africa
Cloud hosting and other providers may process information outside South Africa. Transfers must meet an applicable condition under section 72 of POPIA. This may involve adequate protection under law or binding agreements or another permitted basis. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
7. Retention and security
Enquiry records are retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond | manage related projects or resolve a dispute. Records may be kept longer where required or permitted by law. When no longer needed they should be securely deleted or de-identified. Backup and service logs may remain until the provider's normal retention cycle ends.
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Where a security compromise occurs we will follow applicable notification obligations under POPIA.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable legal requirements you may ask whether we hold your personal information | request access | ask for correction or deletion | object to processing or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect lawful processing before withdrawal. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Send requests to info@greenacredesigns.co.za. Access requests may be subject to POPIA and the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). You can complain directly to the Information Regulator of South Africa without first contacting us.
9. International privacy rights
South African law is our primary framework. Additional mandatory privacy laws may apply in other jurisdictions. The EU GDPR or UK GDPR applies only where its territorial scope is met. If applicable your rights may also include restriction of processing | portability and a complaint to your local supervisory authority. Relevant international transfer requirements must be met.
We do not use contact-form information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. This notice is not a claim of certification or compliance with every law worldwide.
